BAY COUNTY, MI : 2 dead, 2 critical after wrong-way crash on I-75 in Bay County on Wednesday, 13th March 2024

A head-on crash caused by a wrong-way driver on I-75 caused the deaths of two Genesee County residents and left two other people in critical condition late Wednesday, police say.

Michigan State Police say a 41-year-old woman from Pinconning was driving south in the northbound lanes of I-75 near Salzburg Road in Monitor Township around 11:15 p.m.

She slammed into a northbound vehicle carrying three Genesee County residents.

The crash killed a 39-year-old man from Flint, who was driving the vehicle, and a 33-year-old man from Davison, who was riding as a passenger. Both were pronounced dead on the scene.
