Newark, OH : Newark Fire Chief and wife injured in motorcycle crash in the 10000 block of Eden Church Road NE on Sunday, August 7, 2016
Newark Division of Fire and EMS Chief Patrick Connor and his wife suffered non-life threatening injuries after striking a deer on a motorcycle Sunday.
According to the Newark Division of Fire, Connor and his wife were riding their motorcycle in the 10000 block of Eden Church Road NE, at about 7:30pm, Sunday, when they struck the deer.
Connor was taken to Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and his wife was taken to Licking Memorial Hospital.
Connor has been the chief of Newark Division of Fire and EMS for almost two years and has more than 25 years of services with the division.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
