Hattiesburg,MS : Man killed in Hattiesburg rollover accident identified on May,Tuesday 29th 2018

One person was killed in a rollover accident involving two vehicles Tuesday morning.

The accident happened on U.S. Highway 49 near Rose's Barbeque in Hattiesburg. Forrest County Coroner Butch Benedict identified the victim at 73-year-old David Rogers from Cleveland, Georgia.

The two vehicles involved in the crash were a small Nissan van and Nissan Altima. Two people were in the van at the time when it rolled over onto a fence, and one person was inside the Altima, which ran into the median.

The person in the van during the accident was transported by AAA ambulance to the hospital and later pronounced dead.
