Ridgecrest, CA : 2 injured in collision on Hwy 395 on Tuesday, 20th March 2018

Two people were transported to Ridgecrest Regional Hospital Tuesday afternoon following a traffic collision on Highway 395 at the Brown Road/China Lake Boulevard crossover, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The occupants of a Chevy Malibu were injured when a big rig collided with the vehicle, causing significant rear damage to the car.

According to the CHP, the incident is still under investigation but initial findings show that the big rig was traveling north on Highway 395 when the Malibu - driving south on China Lake Boulevard - was getting to turn left and pulled out in front of the big rig.

The patients transported suffered from minor or moderate injuries and complaints of neck pain, according to the CHP.
