A Nampa woman involved in a single vehicle crash Friday afternoon has died from injuries suffered in the accident, according to the Idaho State Police.

Troopers identified the motorist as Maria Keesee, 41.

The crash remains under investigation, but ISP investigators say Keesee was traveling east on state Highway 55 when the vehicle crossed the center line into oncoming traffic and then into a field. The vehicle came to rest in a canal. She was taken to a hospital in Nampa before being transported to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, where she later died.
