Rankin County, MS : Motorist killed in a head-on collision with a school bus in Rankin County on Thursday afternoon, February 5, 2015

Rankin County authorities are worked a fatal accident involving a school bus at Star Road and Jerusalem Church Road Thursday afternoon. That's just south of the Robin Hood Lakes subdivision.

A witness tells us that the person driving the other vehicle involved in the accident was deceased.

It appears the SUV may have been driving in the wrong lane.

The bus driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

We're also told there were no children were on the bus.
