Wahoo, NE : One in critical condition after crash near Wahoo on Thursday, 13th December 2018
Two people were taken to a hospital, including a Weston man with life-threatening injuries, after a car crash west of Wahoo on Thursday afternoon.Case J. Vasa, 22, was in critical condition after his 2007 Pontiac Grand Am was hit by a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by 41-year-old Rebecca Vonseggern of Wahoo, who had non-life-threatening injuries.The accident, which occurred shortly after 3 p.m., happened at the intersection of U.S. 77 and Nebraska 92, according to the Saunders County Sheriff's Office.
According to witnesses, Vasa, heading east, failed to stop at a red light and his vehicle was struck by Vonseggern's vehicle, who was northbound. Alcohol is not suspected to be a factor in the crash, and both drivers were wearing seat belts.
