A British bridesmaid died in a horrific car smash as she drove to a final dress fitting ahead of her sister’s wedding.

Alison Kelly, 29, was killed in a three-car crash last week just days before her older sister’s big day.

Her heartbroken family described Kelly — who was also known as Ally — as a caring animal lover, reported the Daily Mirror.

"Ally was a loving, caring young lady who lived for her horses and dogs," her family said in a statement. "She leaves behind her parents, older sister and younger brother who all miss her terribly and are devastated by this tragedy."

Kelly, who was a keen equestrian who worked with the animals, died near the city of Portsmouth
