TEXARKANA, TX : Bivins man, 19, arrested on DWI charge for allegedly crashing vehicle into local gym on Tuesday, 21st April, 2020

A 19-year-old Bivins, Texas, man has been arrested on a DWI charge after allegedly crashing his vehicle into GymBox Fitness on Richmond Road.The incident happened at 8:20 p.m. Tuesday when James Griggs tried to pull his 2007 Ford Taurus into a parking lot in front of the GymBox. Griggs allegedly failed to stop, jumped the curb and struck the window of the business, said Shawn Vaughn, spokesman for Texarkana, Texas, Police Department.
