Hopkinsville, KY : Woman charged after parkway wreck on April, Saturday 1st 2017

A woman was charged with DUI, wanton endangerment and possession of drugs Saturday night after she ran off the Pennyrile Parkway and into the mall parking lot.

Lauren Wallace, 38, Crofton, was getting on Pennyrile Parkway to travel north from Fort Campbell Boulevard. She reportedly ran off the entrance ramp, hit a guardrail and lights from the helicopter memorial, then crossed all four lanes of the parkway. She then hit a second guardrail before coming to a rest in the mall parking lot, said Christian County deputies.
