One person is dead after investigators say they were struck by a vehicle along I-485 late Sunday night.
The wreck happened on the outer loop just before 9 p.m. Sunday night along 485. WBTV has learned a pedestrian was killed in the incident.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police temporarily closed a section of the highway from Highway 51 to Johnston Road, which is exits 64 to 61.
That section of 485 was reopened before the Monday morning commute.
