Loudon County, TN : Fiery crash that shut down I-40 on Tuesday morning July 29th 2014
Police have identified the victim in a morning crash on I-40 in Loudon County that shut down the interstate for several hours.
Charles Phillips, 24, of Lenoir City, died in the wreck.
A semi hit the back of Phillips' car, which sent his car crashing into the back of another semi truck, and all three vehicles caught fire.
The other two drivers in the crash were not injured.
The wreck happened at about 6:48 a.m. near mile marker 364. I-40 reopened just after 3 p.m.
