SARASOTA COUNTY, FL : Dump truck crash closes I-75 in Sarasota County on Monday, November, 6th 2017

A crash involving hazardous materials has closed lanes on Interstate 75 on Tuesday morning.

A dump truck overturned and spilled its load on I-75 north at Exit 207, Bee Ridge Road, according to the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office. All lanes are now open again after lanes were temporarily closed this morning. It is not known if anyone was hurt.

Traffic was backed up for miles.

Drivers were advised to avoid the area.
