Hernando , Fl :69- Years old Ronald E. Stiffler escaped after his overturned Jeep and boat trailer on Sunday May 31st 2015

The name of the driver who escaped from the wreck of his overturned Jeep and boat trailer in May has been released.

Ronald E. Stiffler, 69, of Pennsylvania was driving north on U.S. 41 north of East Manko Drive, just south of Hernando when the back tire of his Jeep fell off, causing his car and boat trailer to leave the road and roll over, according to a Citrus County Sheriff’s Office crash report. Stiffler was transported to Citrus Memorial Hospital for non-incapacitating injuries.
