TAYLOR, MO : St. Louis man injured in crash south of Taylor on Monday, November 14th 2016

A St. Louis man was injured in a Monday night crash south of Taylor.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado driven by William A. Winkler, 19, was traveling north on U.S. 61 at County Road 365 at 9 p.m. when it struck a deer.

Winkler, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by private vehicle to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., with minor injuries.

The patrol was assisted by the Marion County Sheriff's Department.
