Owatonna,MN : Two hurt in four-car crash in I-35 construction zone on June, Sunday 18th 2017

Two people were hurt in a four-car pileup Sunday morning on Interstate 35.

The crash occurred shortly before noon in the southbound lanes in Owatonna township, where a Buick Enclave and GMC Acadia were stopped in the construction zone due to congestion. A Volkswagon JSS approaching from behind was unable to stop in time and struck the GMC, pushing it into the Buick. A Chevrolet Avalanche, driven by Richard Bartz, 47, of Owatonna, also was unable to stop and struck the rear of the Volkswagon.
