Verona, NY : Central New York man killed in fiery crash on Sunday, 1st August 2021

A Central New York man was killed early Sunday when his pickup truck struck a tree and became engulfed in flames, state police said.

Cody M. Warner, 25, was driving south on state Route 46, just north of Route 31 in the town of Verona at 2:43 a.m. when he drove off the road and struck a tree, troopers said in a news release.

After the 2002 Toyota pickup truck hit the tree at 5985 State Route 46, the vehicle became engulfed in flames, state police said.
