DECATUR, AL : Decatur man killed in motorcycle crash on Highway 31 on Monday, 21st October 2024

A 32-year-old man from Decatur has died after a motorcycle accident Monday morning around 7:50 a.m., according to Morgan County Coroner Jeff Chunn.

Decatur police have identified the driver of the motorcycle as Marcus Allen Hastings.

The crash happened on Highway 31 near Lenwood Road and involved a motorcycle and another vehicle.

Chunn confirmed the man was riding the motorcycle during the accident, while the driver of the car was not injured.
