San Antonio,TX : Driver crashes stolen car into fence at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph, prompting lockdown on October, Saturday 14th 2017

A stolen car crashed into a fence at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph in Texas, prompting a lockdown Saturday night, according to police and reports.

Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office deputies were chasing the vehicle when it careened into the base's eastern fence at around 6 p.m., according to KSAT-TV.

Two of the passengers were captured shortly after the collision. They were not immediately identified.

The third suspect likely escaped through an open field near the base's recycling center, an official said.
