Fort Lauderdale, FL : One dead in Pompano Beach motorcycle crash on Sunday, June 26, 2016

One man was killed and another injured Sunday when the motorcycle they were riding crashed at the intersection of North Andrews Avenue and Northwest 15th Street, according to authorities.

The two men were on a 2001 Suzuki GSK 600 traveling south on North Andrews Avenue about 6:15 a.m. when the driver lost control on a curve, the Broward Sheriff's Office said.

Pompano Beach Fire Rescue pronounced the driver dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending next-of-kin notification, deputies said.

Passenger Manuel Dominguez-Hakon, 22, of Pompano Beach, was taken to Broward Health North with injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.
