Colorado Springs, CO : Passenger injured in Colorado Springs rollover crash on Sunday, July 6, 2014

An 18-year-old man was seriously injured when the car he was in rolled over around 2 a.m. Sunday in Colorado Springs.

The man, a passenger in the car, was injured when the car rolled after not slowing enough for a curve on Bear Creek Road near Bear Creek Lane, police said.

Police said alcohol and speed were a factor in the crash.

Police did not release the passenger's or driver's name or if the driver was injured. Police said the driver was issued a summons to court but not arrested.
