RANKIN COUNTY, MS : Missing Smith Co. man found dead near Starkville on Tuesday, December 6th, 2016

A Smith County man has been found dead after he went missing over a week ago.

23-year-old Brian Andrew Cantrell went missing out of Raleigh about a week ago. According to Smith County Sheriff Charlie Crumpton, Cantrell was found dead on Tuesday near Starkville in Oktibbeha County.

Cantrell was last seen driving his Maroon 2013 Honda Civic SI, a Mississippi tag reading R-W 214.

Officials said that Cantrell suffered from a medical condition that required him to take medicine daily. His cause of death has still not yet been determined.
