An Ensley man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Sunday night in Birmingham. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified the victim as Bilal Najeeb Gresham, 21. The wreck happened in the 100 block of Fourth Avenue South. Authorities said Gresham was the driver and lone occupant of a Chevrolet Tahoe. His SUV left the roadway, hit a telephone pole, sideswiped a parked car, hit a second telephone pole, traveled through an empty parking lot and finally crashed into a chain link fence at the rear of someone's home.
