St. Paul, MN : Vadnais Heights motorcyclist dies after being rear-ended on U.S. 10 in Trimbelle Township on Sunday, July 24, 2016

A Vadnais Heights man was killed Sunday when his 1969 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was rear-ended.

The Pierce County sheriff’s office identified the man as Michael Edward Joyce, 64.

Police say he was killed about 4:14 p.m. on U.S. 10 in Trimbelle Township.

Authorities said Joyce had stopped to make a turn when a 54-year-old Beldenville, Wis., woman driving a 2015 Honda CR-V struck his motorcycle from behind. Joyce was ejected from his motorcycle and later was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
