Marion, OH : Four people injured in two-vehicle crash in Marion County on Wednesday afternoon, December 23, 2015
Four people were transported to Columbus hospitals after a crash at the intersection of Ohio 423 and Kenton-Galion Road in Marion on Wednesday afternoon.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol-Marion Post said Wesley Worrell, 45, of Rushsylvania was westbound on Kenton-Galion and failed to yield to a posted stop sign. He was hit by a car going southbound on Ohio 423. The car was driven by Lori Anderson, 56, of Morral. Both were taken to Marion General Hospital, and then to Grant Medical Center.
Anderson’s two passengers, 42-year-old Leon Burkholder of Rushsylvania and 43-year-old Nathan Burkholder of Bellefontaine, were also injured. Both were taken to Marion General; Leon was later transported to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and Nathan was taken to Grant Hospital.
The press release did not list the patients’ conditions.
No charges have been filed, and the investigation is ongoing.
