Folly Beach, SC : Two pedestrians were struck by a car in that one person is dead on early Saturday morning August 30th 2014

Authorities say a man who struck two pedestrians on Folly Beach, then drove away has been charged with reckless homicide after one of the victims died. Charleston County deputies told local media outlets that 30-year-old Andrew Lanzaro was arrested after officers found a vehicle with damage to its front end and windshield that matching the description of the SUV that hit the pedestrians. Authorities say the two people were walking around 2:15 a.m. Saturday when an SUV swerved off the road and hit them. Lanzaro was awaiting a bond hearing. It wasn't known if he had a lawyer.
