HARWINTON, CT : 1 dead in crash involving motorcyclist, pedestrian on Route 222, Hill Road by Delay Road and Route 118 on Friday, 28th June 2019

State police are investigating a fatal motorcycle verses pedestrian accident that occurred on Route 222 Thursday night.
The crash occurred at around 9 p.m. on Route 222, Hill Road by Delay Road and Route 118, Sgt. Dwight Washington said.

One person was flown to the hospital by Life Star, the other was taken to the hospital by ambulance, Washington said. One person later died from injuries suffered in the crash, he said.State police are withholding information on whether the fatality was the pedestrian or the motorcyclist until family has been notified.
The roadway was closed for a period of time, but it is now open, Washington said. State police Troop L in Litchfield is investigating.
