Colorado Man Dead in Carbon County Accident

A Colorado man is dead and a Rawlins man is injured after a one-vehicle crash east of the town of Baggs in Carbon County.The Wyoming Highway Patrol says 29-year-old Justin Carrillo of Pueblo, Colo., was driving westbound on Wyoming Highway 70 after 1:00 a.m. Friday with 34-year-old Joshua Hart of Rawlins when Carrillo’s pickup truck slid and hit a concrete wall. The vehicle then overturned several times before coming to rest in a ravine.Carrillo was ejected from the vehicle and was found dead at the scene. Hart was partially ejected from the vehicle and was taken to a hospital in Craig, Colo.Wyoming Highway Patrol officials say neither Carrillo or Hart were wearing seatbelts and believe alcohol and excessive speed were factors in the crash.
