Grand Prairie, TX : Motorcyclist dies in Grand Prairie collision on May 19th 2014

A motorcyclist was killed after colliding with an SUV in Grand Prairie.
Police say Michael Steven Holmes, 40, was riding his motorcycle near the intersection of South Carrier Parkway and Desco Lane around 8:30 p.m. Monday when he lost control.
Holmes crashed into a Honda Pilot SUV which was turning onto Desco.
Police say Holmes wasn't wearing a helmet and died after being taken to Methodist Dallas Medical Center.
The driver of the SUV wasn't injured.
This is Grand Prairie's sixth traffic fatality of the year.
