ROCKVILLE, MD : 2 hurt in Rockville Pike Metrobus crash on Friday, 25th August 2023

A driver and a passenger on a Metrobus were hurt after a crash on Rockville Pike and Veirs Mill Road during the Friday morning commute. Police are still investigating what led to the crash.

The crash happened just before 8 a.m. A spokesperson for Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority said preliminarily it appears a car crossed the median in the area and struck the Q6 bus. WMATA says the driver and one passenger sustained injuries that were thought to be non-life-threatening.
