Man killed in DC car crash in Washington

Metropolitan Police say a Maryland man was killed when the car he was driving hit several trees and overturned.
It happened about 11:45 p.m. Monday on Interstate 295 near East Capitol Street. Police say 28-year-old Anthony Lawrence Emerson of Glenn Dale, Md., lost control of his car, which traveled onto a grassy area, hit several trees and shrubs and overturned.
