GLYNDON, MN : A Moorhead woman was injured on Tuesday, July 25, 2017
A Moorhead woman was injured Tuesday, July 25, when the car she was driving collided with the rear of a semi tractor-trailer rig on Highway 10 near 170th St. N., about 12 miles east of Moorhead, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.
According to the patrol report:
Emmaleigh Mae Brown, 23, was driving eastbound on Highway 10 in a 2014 Ford Focus about 2:36 p.m. when she rear-ended the trailer of an eastbound 2006 Freightliner, driven by Michael J. Schmaltz, 66, of West Fargo.
Brown was taken to Sanford Hospital in Fargo with non-life-threatening injuries.
Schmaltz was not reported as being injured.
The Clay County Sheriff's Office also responded to the crash scene.
