Wilmington, DE : Four people injured in rollover crash near New Castle on Sunday night, July 24, 2016
Four people were injured Sunday night in a rollover crash near New Castle, according to New Castle County paramedics.
Emergency responders were called at about 9:40 p.m. to the area of Del. 1 northbound and U.S. 13 for the report of one vehicle that had rolled, Cpl. David McKinney Jr. said. All patients inside had pulled themselves out before paramedics arrived, he said.
A 26-year-old woman was considered the most critical with an extremity fracture, McKinney said. She was transported to Christiana Hospital in Stanton by a Delaware City Fire Department ambulance, he said.
Three other people, all experiencing minor injuries, were also take to Christiana Hospital. All were described as stable.
State police were on scene investigating.
