Kansas City,KS : KCK Police investigating crash that killed 1, injured two others on October, Monday 2nd 2017

Kansas City Kansas Police are investigating a traffic collision that left a driver dead.

Police say it happened near the intersection of Washington Blvd. and N 5th Street.

Officers say the driver of a silver Chevy Equinox ran a red light and struck a gold sedan just after 6 p.m.

The impact threw the driver of the sedan from his car. He died at the scene.

EMS transported the two men in the SUV to a local hospital. The men have non-life-threatening injuries.

There's no word if anyone involved was wearing their seat-belt.

Officers say the collision is under investigation.
