Anchorage, AK : Unalakleet man dies in ATV crash on May, Wednesday 3rd 2017
The death of an Unalakleet man in the crash of an all-terrain vehicle near the Norton Sound community is being examined by Alaska State Troopers.
Word of the four-wheeler wreck that killed 24-year-old Kevin Bradley, about 3 miles north of the community of about 750 people, was received by troopers at about 5:30 a.m. Thursday. An online dispatch said Bradley had been riding with driver Ransom Bradley III, 24, of Unalakleet, when "they crashed down an embankment at Powers Creek."
"Kevin was found deceased near the crash site," troopers wrote. "Ransom Bradley was not on scene when AST arrived. He was located inside an outbuilding in Unalakleet."
Neither rider was wearing a helmet, troopers said. Ransom Bradley was taken to a clinic for evaluation, and Kevin Bradley's body will be sent to Anchorage for an autopsy.
Troopers spokeswoman Megan Peters said that the reason Ransom Bradley left the scene and whether charges might be filed remain under investigation.
