Birmingham, AL : Former college basketball players dies from 3-vehicle crash on Interstate 459 in Alabama early Saturday, March 12, 2016
Authorities say a man has died from injuries from a three-vehicle crash on Interstate 459 in Alabama.
Alabama State Troopers tells Al.com that 25-year-old Schylar Keath Reynolds Freeman was pronounced dead early Saturday at UAB Hospital. Freeman was a former basketball player at Birmingham-Southern College.
The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency tells multiple news outlets that the vehicle Freeman was driving collided with a car driven by 18-year-old Ryan Thomas Lisenba. Freeman's car was then struck by a sports utility vehicle driven by 17-year-old boy.
Authorities say Lisenba and the 17-year-old boy were not injured.
Troopers are continuing to investigate.
