A three-vehicle rollover collision Sunday morning injured three people and shut down the West End Bridge.
One victim was ejected about 15 feet from a car, Department of Public Safety spokeswoman Sonya Toler said. Of two others riding in the same car, one refused treatment and the other was taken to Allegheny General Hospital, she said.
A female in another car was also taken to the hospital. All hospitalized victims appeared to have serious but non-life-threatening injuries, Toler said.
The cause and further details about the accident were not immediately clear.
Outbound lanes on the West End Bridge, a one-mile thoroughfare linking the West End to the North Side, were closed for about three hours, reopening shortly after noon. Saw Mill Run Boulevard, or Route 51, at the West End Circle was also closed.
