Sacramento, CA : Man killed, 5 injured in a three-vehicle crash on southbound Hwy. 99 between Calvin and Mack roads on Saturday morning, Oct 17, 2015

A man was killed and five others were injured in a three-vehicle crash Saturday morning on Highway 99 in south Sacramento.

The man killed in the crash was identified as Kenny Nguyen, 23, of Elk Grove, by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office Sunday.

The conditions of the other five victims are unknown.

The crash happened around 5 a.m. on southbound Hwy. 99 between Calvin and Mack roads, the Sacramento Fire Department said. One of the vehicles went through a fence on the right shoulder and stopped on Timberlake Way.

The cause of the crash is unknown.
