Tillamook,OR : One man died and another was injured in Tillamook county On Thursday afternoon

One man died and another was injured Thursday afternoon when a pickup truck crossed the centerline on U.S. 101 in Tillamook County and struck a passenger car. Oregon State Police report that the pickup was northbound on the coastal highway near Old Condor Bridge Road, at the north edge of the community of Hebo, when it crossed over into the oncoming lane about 3 p.m. and collided with a passenger car. The driver of the passenger car was killed and the driver of the pickup truck was injured. No names have yet been released, pending notification of next of kin, according to OSP. OSP is investigating the cause of the crash. Assisting are the Tillamook County Sheriff's Office, Nestucca Rural Fire & Rescue, and ODOT. The highway was closed in both directions.
