PHILADELPHIA, PA : 2 cops hurt after suspect crashes into police SUV on Tuesday, 9th November 2016

Officials say a suspect fleeing a traffic stop in Philadelphia crashed into a police SUV, leaving two officers hurt.

Police say they stopped a car Tuesday night because its headlights weren’t on. Police then determined the 31-year-old driver had his license suspended.

Police say the car keys were placed on the car’s roof, but that the driver remotely started it and took off.

The car later crashed into a police SUV and rolled about 100 feet before landing in front of a house.

Officials say the suspect fled but has been apprehended. He was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

The officers in the SUV were taken to a hospital in stable condition.

The names of the suspect and the officer weren’t immediately known.
