Springfield, OH : Person killed in 10-vehicle Logan County crash identified on Wednesday, January, 10th 2018

The person killed in the crash has been identified as Lacy D. Smith, 56, of Powell.

The accident occurred as Smith was driving a Toyota Tundra west on U.S. 33 and the icy road conditions caused him to lose control of the vehicle, according to a press release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The vehicle went across the median, in to the eastbound lane and was struck by a semi trailer, the release said.
