San Dimas, CA : Two people injured in a two-vehicle crash on 57 Freeway in San Dimas on Saturday, February 14, 2015

A two-vehicle crash on the Orange (57) Freeway in San Dimas Saturday sent two people to hospitals, authorities said.

The crash involving a Corvette and Scion was reported at 7:25 p.m. on the northbound side of the freeway near Via Verde, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Firefighters freed one person before taking two patients to hospitals, one via helicopter, said Los Angeles County Fire Department Dispatch Supervisor Michael Pittman.

The trapped victim was in the Scion, according to the CHP.
