Big rig driver no-billed near Beaumont Texas

A truck driver will not face criminal charges in connection with a fatal, massive traffic pileup along foggy Interstate 10 in Jefferson County on Thanksgiving Day.Vincent and Debra Leggio were killed in the accident west of Beaumont.

Twenty-nine others were injured and 95 vehicles were damaged.According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Richard Kerr, the driver of an 18-wheeler, plowed into the back of the Leggio's stalled SUV.A Jefferson County grand jury decided Thursday to no-bill Kerr.DPS officials had recommended that he be charged with negligent homicide.
