McCracken County Sheriff deputies responded to a report of a two vehicle injury accident at the intersection of Lone Oak Road and North Friendship Road on Tuesday, Dec. 29, at approximately 7:00 p.m.
A preliminary investigation revealed James Kidd, 64, of Paducah, was traveling northbound on Lone Oak Road in his 1997 Jeep Wrangler. As Kidd came to the intersection of North Friendship Road, he attempted to make a left turn. This impact caused Boyett’s vehicle to slide sideways before striking the roadside curb and rolling onto its passenger side. Boyett and his passenger, Shelby Morgan, 24, of Murray, Kentucky, were taken to Lourdes for non-incapacitating injuries.
Kidd was not injured.
The McCracken County Sheriff’s Department was assisted on scene by Mercy Regional Ambulance Service, Lone Oak Fire Department and Stinnett’s Towing.
