Santa Clarita, CA : Two people injured in rollover crash on San Francisquito Canyon Road on Sunday, March 29, 2015

An adult and child were injured and airlifted to the hospital Sunday after the car in which they were traveling overturned on San Francisquito Canyon Road, a spokesman for the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.

Shortly after 10:45 a.m. Sunday, Fire Department paramedics responded to reports from California Highway Patrol officers of a white sedan that flipped over on the 35100 block of San Francisquito Canyon road, near the Camp 14 Fire Station, said Fire Department Supervisor Bernard Peters.

“We got the call as a traffic collision, one car overturned,” Peters said Sunday. “We also received word of possibly someone trapped.”

A helicopter was dispatched to the crash scene about five miles north of Copper Hill Drive, where “one adult and one pediatric” patient were then flown to the hospital, Peters said.

Both victims shared the same helicopter, he added.
