CHICKASAW, AL : 3 arrested after pursuit ends in crash in Chickasaw on Friday, 5th July 2024

Three people face are under arrest after a high-speed chase out of Atmore and along Interstate 65 ended in a crash in Chickasaw.

According to the Alabama Department of Corrections, an ADOC Law Enforcement Services Division officer spotted a suspicious vehicle and a person allegedly trying to sneak contraband into Fountain Correctional Facility in Atmore Friday morning.

Authorities said the suspect got into the vehicle and took off, leading to a pursuit south on I-65 that ended in a crash at Exit 10 in Chickasaw.
