Conway County, AR : Arkansas motorcyclist dies in crash after crossing center line on Sunday, April 3, 2016

A motorcyclist was killed after losing control and crossing the center line of Arkansas 9 Sunday in Conway County, according to an Arkansas State Police report.

Christopher Carroll Jr., 22, of Morrilton, was riding a Harley Davidson south on the highway near Pinter Lane when he lost control around 1:30 p.m. and veered across the center line. He was then struck by a northbound Pontiac G6, according to the report.

No other injuries were reported.

Road conditions at the time of the crash were described as clear and dry.

It was the 111th fatality on Arkansas roads in 2016, according to preliminary police records.
