Kansas City, MO : Two people serious injured in crash Paseo near Fire Station 17 on Tuesday December 8 2015

Two people were hospitalized following a wreck on 34th and The Paseo near Fire Station 17.
According to responders at the scene, the vehicle hopped a curb in front of Fire Station 17 and crashed into a tree.The driver of the vehicle is in serious condition. A passenger was also taken to the hospital, but is expected to recover.
A third person who was in the vehicle fled the scene, according to police.
Alcohol may have been a factor in the wreck.
