Butler,PA : Man injured in motorcycle crash on June, Thursday 8th 2017

A Butler man was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital with injuries this afternoon after he was involved in a motorcycle crash on Carbon Center Road.

The driver, a 57 year-old man, lost control shortly after 5 p.m. while driving southbound through a bend near railroad tracks on the 200 block of the road, state police at the scene said.

No other vehicles were involved. The driver was wearing a helmet and was taken by East Butler EMS to the hospital with minor injuries.

Traffic on the road was limited for about an hour. The Lick Hill Fire Department also responded.
