A driver and her passenger had to be extricated from a car after slamming into a utility pole on Monday night, according to authorities.
Londonderry police said the car went off the road in the area of Larch Lane and Griffin Road, hitting several trees before crashing into the pole.
The driver was taken to a local hospital, and her passenger was flown to Bringham and Women's Hospital in Boston with serious injuries. Authorities said they were still trying to identify the passenger.
